After the U.S. Supreme Court put a stop to President Joe Biden’s plan to forgive $10,000 in student debt for borrowers who earned less than $125,000 a year — and $20,000 for those who were eligible for Pell Grants — the administration is using other ways to clean the slate for some borrowers.
