Exports of SC-made goods topped $37.3B in '23 as growth surpassed national average

South Carolina's automotive sector, primarily BMWs built at the German automaker's Upstate plant, helped boost the state's export total to $37.3 billion worth of goods in 2023, far outpacing the national average.
