House Republican education bill voted down again, lawmakers now back with original version of bill

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - For the second time in three days, the Alaska House voted against taking up a comprehensive education bill supported by the Republican-led majority. By the time Senate Bill 140 made it out of the House Rules Committee last month, it contained provisions relating to internet funding, increasing the Base Student Allocation and charter schools.
