The Kansas City Chiefs won their third Vince Lombardi Trophy in five years, edging the San Francisco 49ers, 25-22, in overtime in a rematch from four years earlier. The 49ers rumbled down the field on their opening drive, but on a first down at the Chiefs’ 29-yard line, Christian McCaffrey—normally one of the NFL’s most sure-handed running backs—lost a fumble.
