Kansas Supreme Court retains jurisdiction of education financial solution

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - The Kansas Supreme Court released jurisdiction of the Gannon case involving the base aid for student excellence (BASE). According to the Kansas Supreme Court officials, in the case Gannon v. State, the court retained jurisdiction to ensure continued legislative compliance with the school funding requirements set forth by the Kansas Constitution, which is mandated in Gannon v. State.
