1,900 workers prepare to strike ahead of 5 a.m. contract deadline for Rio, Sahara, Virgin Hotels

LAS VEGAS (KLAS) — Hotel worker strikes along the Las Vegas Strip made national headlines in 2023, and they may again soon. It’s down to the final 13 hotels that have yet to reach contract agreements with the union that represents a majority of their workers: Culinary Workers Union Local 226.
