Record-breaking snow blanketed Anchorage in Alaska on Monday as the city hit a milestone for snowfall, local media reported. Footage captured by Alaska-based climate scientist Brian Brettschneider shows thick snow covering homes and trees on January 29 as the city grappled with a winter storm.
