Pilot program pushing climate-smart ag in North Dakota

NORTH DAKOTA (KXNET) — The federal government wants farmers and ranchers to produce more climate-smart agriculture and North Dakota is part of this pilot program. In Monday’s Eye on Ag and Energy, a look at this type of conservation and the benefits our ag workers can receive participating in this program. These practices include no-till, minimum till, prescribed grazing, cover crops, and other practices that curb greenhouse gas emissions.
