Greensboro woman ID’d in Chapel Hill fatal crash

RALEIGH, N.C.(WNCN) — A Greensboro woman has been identified as the victim in fatal crash. Chapel Hill police report officers responded to the crash on Sunday at 2:23 a.m. at the intersection of Raleigh Road and W. Barbee Chapel Road. Police say the driver of the vehicle was traveling east on Raleigh Road, lost control, and drove into a wooded area. The crash killed a passenger now identified as 20-year-old Mary Elizabeth Rotunda of Greensboro.
