A spirited winter storm is expected to droop into South Florida late Tuesday with a mix of ingredients similar to what spawned a damaging tornado in Fort Lauderdale over the weekend. The system, which had 11 million people nationwide under winter storm warnings Monday, created blizzard conditions from southeastern Colorado into Kansas, concerns for flash flooding in the lower Mississippi Valley and an enhanced threat for severe weather for the Florida Panhandle through Central Florida.
