An imam was shot outside a mosque in Newark Wednesday morning, according to multiple reports.
According to ABC, the victim was taken to University Hospital in critical condition. The shooting happened at about 6:15 a.m. near the corner of Camden Street and South Orange Avenue, per CBS.
