US To Sell $70 Bln In Reopened 42-Day Bills Wed

WASHINGTON (Dow Jones)--The U.S. Treasury plans to auction $70 billion in reopened 42-day bills Wednesday. The debt will settle on Dec. 28, 2023 and will mature Feb. 08, 2024. The debt is a reopening of an issue first sold on Aug. 10, 2023. The Federal Reserve holds $11.842 billion of maturing securities for its own account. Amounts bid by the Federal Reserve banks for their own account will be in addition to the public offering amount.
