The Texas Supreme Court has paused a Travis County judge's decision to allow a woman to terminate a pregnancy in which her fetus has a fatal diagnosis. Travis County state District Judge Maya Guerra Gamble’s order in question was issued Thursday morning, and it had blocked the state from enforcing its strict abortion ban in the case of Kate Cox, a 31-year-old mother of two from the Dallas area.
