Alabama burn ban lifted, ‘Fuel Advisory’ in place for some counties

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) - The Alabama Forestry Commission officially lifted the statewide burn ban Monday but about half of the counties in our area are still under what’s called a “Fuel Advisory.” Nearly a month ago, Governor Kay Ivey signed a statewide Drought Emergency Declaration, also known as a No Burn Order. This prohibited all burning outdoors across the state.
