MADISON (WKOW) -- Senate Minority Leader Melissa Agard said she plans to step down once her term ends in November 2024. She announced her bid for Dane County Executive on Thursday. If elected, she will replace Dane County Executive Joe Parisi, who has served more than 13 years in the role. Agard served nearly eight years in Wisconsin's state Assembly before she was elected to the state Senate, representing the 16th District.
