Maui County now under flood watch

Maui County and Hawaii island are under a flood watch starting today through Thursday afternoon, the National Weather Service announced. A kona low northwest of the islands is expected to bring a moist and unstable air mass to the state through Thursday, resulting in the potential for flash flooding and thunderstorms. Kauai County and Oahu are also under a flood watch until Thursday afternoon.
