Tigers add veteran starter Maeda on $24 million, 2-year deal

DETROIT (AP) – Free agent right-hander Kenta Maeda and the Detroit Tigers agreed to a $24 million, two-year contract, a person familiar with the deal told The Associated Press. The person spoke on condition of anonymity Sunday night because the agreement was subject to a successful physical and had not been announced.
