With many customers choosing smaller projects and relatively few Americans buying and moving into homes they want to renovate, the decline is likely to continue, predicted officials at the Vinings-based home improvement giant on a teleconference with analysts and reporters. The company had sales during the quarter of $37.7 billion, 3% less than the same quarter a year ago.
