Pedestrian fatally struck by hit-and-run SUV driver in Brooklyn

A 46-year-old pedestrian was fatally struck by a hit-and-run SUV driver in Brooklyn, police said Tuesday.

The victim was crossing Fort Hamilton Parkway near 37th St. in Borough Park when the driver of a Honda CR-V struck him about 10:40 p.m. Monday and kept going, cops said.

A second motorist also headed south on the parkway may have also struck the victim after he fell to the pavement and kept going, cops said.

The victim died at the scene. His name was not immediately released.
