Jamaal Bowman Criminally Charged For Capitol Pulling Fire Alarm
Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.) was criminally charged Wednesday for falsely pulling a fire alarm at the Capitol ahead of a critical vote late last month to avert a government shutdown, after the New York progressive faced expulsion calls for triggering the alarm. Bowman was charged in Washington D.C. Superior Court with a misdemeanor count of falsely pulling the alarm following an investigation by Capitol Police.
