Biden Declares ‘We Cannot Give Up on Two State Solution’ Amid Israel-Hamas War

President Joe Biden on Monday urged peace among Israelis and Palestinians amid the Israel-Hamas war.
The president pushed for a "two state solution" for Palestine and Israel as the latter continues to strike Gaza in response to an October 7 attack by Hamas that claimed more than 1400 lives.
"As hard as it is, we cannot give up on peace. We cannot give up on a two-state solution," Biden wrote on X. "Israelis and Palestinians equally deserve to live in safety, dignity, and peace."
