Registered N.J. sex offender sent back to prison for distributing child porn

A registered sex offender who sent child pornography to an undercover detective has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison. Hugh Cohen, 65, of Elizabeth, was on supervised release from a 2010 conviction when he interacted online with the agent in late March and early April 2021, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for New Jersey said Tuesday.
