North Dakota state senator Doug Larsen was piloting the single-engine airplane that crashed soon after he, his wife, and their two young sons took off from an airport in Utah Sunday evening. Larsen and his family were reportedly headed home after visiting family in Scottsdale, Arizona but had made a stop in Utah to refuel.
