Alaska delegation push for protections on state hunting, archery law

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (KTUU) - Alaska’s congressional delegation helped pass a bill in the U.S. Senate this week that safeguards certain sport clubs and programs for hunting and archery. With the help of Alaska Sens. Lisa Murkowski and Dan Sullivan, as well as other state leaders, House bill 5110 — also known as the Protecting Hunting Heritage and Education Act — passed the Senate with a resounding 424-1 vote on Tuesday.
