Washington County deputy involved in two-vehicle injury collision

A 68-year-old man was injured Friday in a two-vehicle collision with a deputy from the Washington County Sheriff's Office. James Winter of rural Washington County was taken to Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha by Fort Calhoun medics, according to a statement from the Sheriff's Office. The 27-year-old deputy, Morgan Ransiear, was not injured.
