Former Gov. Brereton Jones to lie in state at the Kentucky Capitol

Former Kentucky Gov. Brereton Jones, who died on Monday, Sept. 18, will lie in state at the Kentucky State Capitol on Monday, Sept. 25, officials announced. Jones will be honored from 10 a.m. - 7 pm. His family will receive visitors in the Capitol Rotunda from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., said Milward’s Funeral Home, which is handling arrangements.
