Air Quality Alert Extended
(KNSI) – An air quality alert has been extended until 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. The air quality alert covers the western half of Minnesota, including Stearns County, due to wildfire smoke from Canada. Northwest winds will gradually clear the smoke from north to south. The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency issued the alert earlier this week due to fine particle pollution caused by the smoke.
