In a case that has ignited national debates surrounding gun policies and race, a judge in Missouri has ruled that an 84-year-old white homeowner must stand trial for shooting and seriously injuring a Black teenager. The incident occurred on April 13 when 17-year-old Ralph Yarl mistakenly went to Andrew Lester’s house instead of picking up his younger brothers.
