Michelin awards three Bay Area restaurants with their first stars

Three Bay Area fine dining restaurants — fewer than in 2022 — achieved Michelin star status for the first time last night at the 2023 awards ceremony held at the Chabot Space & Science Center in Oakland, where chefs did caviar bumps and Dominique Crenn arrived in jeans.
