RHODE ISLAND — Going to the beach is one of Rhode Island's great summer pastimes, but for those that often go, skin cancer can be a risk. Between Friday and mid-August, the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH), Brown Dermatology and partners statewide will offer free skin cancer screenings at certain Rhode Island parks and beaches on six dates.
