CHICAGO — Wildfire smoke traveling down from Canada made Chicago experience the worst air quality of any big city in the world Tuesday. On Wednesday, the “very unhealthy” air quality stuck around, according to AirNow, the official U.S. Air Quality Index, but things are expected to improve by Thursday.
