All this year, hip-hop’s 50th anniversary has been celebrated by fans and artists – and one of the largest tributes is still on the way. On August 11, the actual birthday of the culture, a massive concert takes place in Yankee Stadium to host Hip-Hop 50 Live, an all-day event with a festival lineup’s worth of talent put on by Mass Appeal and Live Nation.
