1000 protest Netanyahu gov't at NYC's Israel Parade

NEW YORK – Nearly a thousand pro-democracy protesters, including U.S. Jewish officials, Israeli protest movement leaders and former senior Israeli officials, participated in Sunday's Celebrate Israel Parade in Manhattan, which is the country's largest annual show of support for the Jewish state. The majority of pro-democracy protesters were marching with Ameinu, an offshoot of the Labor Zionist movement, which organized the second largest marching bloc after years of not participating.
