Ongoing Power Outage In Annapolis Leaves 39K Without Electricity

ANNAPOLIS, MD — Nearly 40,000 Annapolis area businesses and residents are without power Thursday, according to Baltimore Gas & Electric/Exelon.
According to the tracking site PowerOutage.US, there were 39,982 customers without power at 5:40 p.m.
A news release from the city of Annapolis said the widespread outage began around 3:15 p.m. Authorities believe a power disruption at the Cedar Park substation has affected the Annapolis peninsula and surrounding communities.
