Small plane narrowly misses power line, crashes in backyard of Detroit home

DETROIT – A small, single-engine airplane was forced to make a crash landing in the backyard of a home in Detroit. Detroit Police Chief James White said the plane occupied by two people narrowly missed power lines, clipped a tree, and came to rest wedged between a fence and a garage in the 12000 block of Duchess Street at about 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
