Wildfire in N.J. state forest burns 120 acres, threatens 6 homes, officials say
A fire that started burning through a Burlington County forest Wednesday evening has spread more than 100 acres, the New Jersey Forest Fire Service said. The fire started in Bass River State Forest near Allen Road shortly after 6 p.m., the agency said. It has since burned through 120 acres of woods and is 0% contained, officials said.
