Firefighters have gained the upper hand on a now 150 acre fire that has been burning in a wildlife management area in Gloucester County since Monday night, officials said. Though the fire at White Oaks Wildlife Management Area in Franklin and Monroe townships grew from 100 acres at 11 p.m. Monday, it is 60% contained as of 11 a.m, the state Forest Fire Service said.
