Christopher Wray threatened with contempt for defying subpoena on Joe Biden 'scheme'
A top House Republican investigator threatened Christopher Wray with a contempt charge after the FBI director repeatedly refused to hand over, or confirm the existence of, a bureau form that allegedly describes a “criminal scheme” involving then-Vice President Joe Biden and an unnamed “foreign national.”
Rep. James Comer (R-KY), chairman of the House Oversight Committee, who is conducting an investigation into Hunter Biden’s overseas business dealings, sent a Wednesday letter to Wray threatening to initiate contempt of Congress proceedings if the FBI chief does not cooperate.
