More than 170 San Diego business and civic leaders are traveling this week to Washington, D.C., to lobby federal officials for infrastructure funding and other priorities such as coastline resilience and solving border sewage problems. The leaders, including Mayor Todd Gloria and Chamber of Commerce chief executive Jerry Sanders, will spend the three-day trip meeting with a wide range of politicians and officials who lead various federal departments.
