Man dies after falling from border wall in San Diego
A 30-foot bollard-style wall seen at the U.S.-Mexico border, near the South Bay Water Reclamation Plant. A man from Mexico died in January after falling from the border wall after crossing from Tijuana, Customs and Border Protection said in a statement released Thursday. According to the Mexican Consulate in San Diego, he was 28 years old and from the state of Colima, which lies on the western coast between Jalisco and Michoacán.
