Rutgers University unions and administration faculty working to avoid potential strike

NEW YORK -- Rutgers University is expected to resume negotiations Sunday night, ahead of a looming strike this week.

An online town hall is being held in the evening as bargaining continues with the unions and administration faculty.

If they do strike, it would mark the first time Rutgers professors and faculty walked off the job.

The university said it has brought in a mediator to help the two sides reach a deal.
