These Texas cities won most James Beard nominations

Multiple Texas cities, including Houston, had restaurants and chefs named finalists for the 2023 James Beard Awards. But some earned more than others. And one city was completely snubbed. Three Houston restaurants earned nominations, including Tatemó, Nancy’s Hustle and Street to Kitchen. Restaurant columnist Bao Ong and food editor Greg Morago spoke to the local finalists Wednesday about how they felt upon hearing the news.
