Cherokee Nation allocates $152,000 to Skiatook, Sperry school districts

The Cherokee Nation is contributing $7.8 million to 109 school districts — including Skiatook and Sperry — as part of the tribe’s annual Public School Appreciation Day initiative. Through this year’s disbursement, Skiatook and Sperry districts collectively received more than $152,000. “I am incredibly proud of the Cherokee Nation’s longstanding partnerships with school districts in Northeast Oklahoma.
