Officials said Joy Turnbore, 29, was driving a 2015 Dodge Journey westbound on Predmore Road at 8:18 a.m. when she pulled in front of a 2022 Hino box truck that was heading northbound on Rochester Road. Although there is a stop sign on Predmore Road, police do not know if the Journey stopped at the intersection when the truck smashed into the journey. Officials said Turnbore died in the crash.
