26 Burger King locations closing in Metro Detroit, more than 400 jobs lost

WASHTENAW COUNTY, MI -- Whitmore Lake is just one of many locations in Michigan losing its go-to spot to get a Whopper. EYM King of Michigan LLC, a franchisee, is planning to close 26 Burger King restaurants across the Metro Detroit area, including locations in Flint, Dearborn Heights, Southfield, Royal Oak, Livonia and Warren.
