Hop streetcar derailed after being struck by a garbage truck near Milwaukee and Wells

One of Milwaukee's Hop streetcar's was derailed Monday morning when it was struck by a garbage truck near Milwaukee Street and Wells Street. One person was taken to the hospital after the incident.
Officials say the garbage truck struck the streetcar around 6:30 am. Due to the accident, there will be a temporary suspension of Hop service.
