A county in the US state of Georgia reportedly spent at least $1.2 million just to prevent paying for a trans woman’s gender-affirming care. Officials in Houston County Georgia deemed the affirming healthcare for deputy sheriff Anna Lange was too expensive for it to. cover – but spent more than a million dollars on private lawyers to prevent her treatment.
