HONG KONG—Chinese aviation authorities said on Monday that their investigation of a China Eastern crash that killed 132 people one year ago was continuing, but they made no comment on the possible cause, which U.S. officials’ initial assessment has indicated was an intentional nosedive.
The Boeing 737-800 was cruising at high altitude on a flight from the southwestern Chinese city of Kunming, bound for Guangzhou in southeastern China last year when it began a near-vertical descent and crashed into a mountainside at high speed.
