One person shot by U.S. Park Police officer, D.C. police say

D.C. police are investigating a shooting Saturday morning by a U.S. Park Police officer, a spokesman said. The shooting occurred at about 9:30 a.m. in the 300 block of 36th Street NE. One person was shot, said D.C. police spokesman Sean Hickman. The victim’s condition was not yet clear, he said.

The U.S. Park Police did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
