Mexico's January Industrial Production Unchanged From December

MEXICO CITY--Mexican industrial production was unchanged in January from the previous month as a decline in construction activity offset gains in manufacturing and mining output, the National Statistics Institute said Monday. Construction fell 1% in seasonally adjusted terms; mining output grew 0.2%, including a 1.3% increase in oil and gas production; and utilities output, which covers electricity, water and gas, was up 0.8%, from the previous month.
